The firm’s new hire has spent more than two decades in the health and safety sector in New Zealand and the UK
Simpson Grierson has appointed Fiona Carney as senior consultant in its health and safety advisory business, which was launched by the firm in 2015.
Carney, who will be joining health and safety director and special advisor Terry Johnson, has more than two decades’ experience in the health and safety sector in various leadership roles for firms both in New Zealand and the UK.
Most recently, Carney was on a fixed-term contract as health and safety manager at Spark New Zealand. She started her career in the explosives industry and has worked with the Greater Manchester Police, Goodman Fielder and Chorus.
