The search is on for the landmark deals completed over the past year
Nominations close soon for the 16th annual New Zealand Law Awards, the leading awards event showcasing the nation’s top law firms, in-house counsel, individuals and dealmakers.
Among the 29 award categories will be those focusing on landmark deals completed over the past 12 months, including:
- Debt Market Deal of the Year
- Equity Market Deal of the Year
- Insolvency and Restructuring Deal of the Year
- M&A Deal of the Year
- Mid-Market Deal of the Year
- Project Finance Deal of the Year

Nominations are open to all members of the legal services market in New Zealand until 3 July. The process of submitting a nomination is straightforward and free.
Finalists will be announced on the NZ Lawyer website and our online channels in September. Winners will be revealed during the black-tie awards gala on 12 November at the Cordis, Auckland, and will receive extensive media coverage on NZ Lawyer.
