Time is running out for individuals, firms and in-house teams to gain recognition for their achievements

New Zealand Law Awards: Final week to nominate
Nominations for the 13th annual New Zealand Law Awards close Friday. NZ Lawyer readers interested in entering this year’s awards are encouraged to start preparing their nominations today.

This year, 28 award categories will recognise the best firms, lawyers, in-house teams, deals and other legal professionals in the industry.

The award categories are:

Specialist firm categories:
• Employment Law Specialist Firm of the Year
• Litigation & Dispute Resolution Specialist Law Firm of the Year
• Intellectual Property Specialist Law Firm of the Year
• Property & Construction Specialist Law Firm of the Year
• Insurance Specialist Law Firm of the Year
• Boutique Law Firm of the Year

Categories by firm size:
• Employer of Choice (<50 Lawyers)
• Employer of Choice (51-100 Lawyers)
• Employer of Choice (>100 Lawyers)
• Regional/ Suburban Law Firm of the Year
• Mid-size Law Firm of the Year
• Large Law Firm of the Year

Individual and team categories:
• Managing Partner of the Year (<100 Lawyers)
• Managing Partner of the Year (>100 Lawyers)
• Mediator of the Year
• Young Private Practice Lawyer of the Year (35 or under)
• Deal Team of the Year (<100 Lawyers)
• Deal Team of the Year (>100 Lawyers)

Readers are encouraged to submit their nominations in the relevant categories by this Friday.

The New Zealand Law Awards will be held at The Langham, Auckland on Thursday 23rd November 2017.
