New Zealand Law Awards category spotlight: Firms
The 13th annual New Zealand Law Awards will recognise the outstanding achievements of those working in the legal profession across 28 categories.

Over the last few weeks we have taken a look at the categories open to deals and in-house teams; now it’s time to take a look at the firm categories.

Nominations are open until Friday 28 July. New Zealand’s best firms are encouraged to enter the following categories:

Specialist firm categories:
  • Employment Law Specialist Firm of the Year
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution Specialist Law Firm of the Year
  • Intellectual Property Specialist Law Firm of the Year
  • Property & Construction Specialist Law Firm of the Year
  • Insurance Specialist Law Firm of the Year
  • Boutique Law Firm of the Year

Categories by firm size:
  • Employer of Choice (<50 Lawyers)
  • Employer of Choice (51-100 Lawyers)
  • Employer of Choice (>100 Lawyers)
  • Regional/ Suburban Law Firm of the Year
  • Mid-size Law Firm of the Year
  • Large Law Firm of the Year

Individual and team categories:
  • Managing Partner of the Year (<100 Lawyers)
  • Managing Partner of the Year (>100 Lawyers)
  • Mediator of the Year
  • Young Private Practice Lawyer of the Year (35 or under)
  • Deal Team of the Year (<100 Lawyers)
  • Deal Team of the Year (>100 Lawyers)
