Law firms Bell Gully and Buddle Findlay have announced the appointment of new partners.

David Allan and David Randal were appointed in the Wellington office; both practice in resource management, environmental and natural resources law, and local government law.

In Christchurch, Susan Rowe specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution with expertise in insurance and construction, local government and employment law.

At Bell Gully, the focus was on corporate expertise, with Dean Alderton and James Cooney announced as the firm’s newest partners. Cooney specialises in corporate and securities law, and Alderton works on private equity transactions, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and capital markets. In addition to Alderton and Cooney's promotions, the firm has appointed ten new senior associates.
