The firm will have 10 Crown lawyers right off the bat

New Crown Solicitor firm to open in Tauranga
Tauranga will gain a new Crown Solicitor firm at the start of 2018.

Anna Pollett will open the doors of Pollett Legal Ltd in the city on 1 January. Joining her are nine other Crown prosecutors. They are Richard Jenson, Hayley Sheridan, Nathan Batts, Sam Davison, Ashley Shore, Oliver Salt, Charlotte Pennycuick, Jan Furness, and Karen Moore.

Pollett was appointed as Crown solicitor on 1 August. An expert in criminal law, she has been a Crown Counsel since 2003.

She filled the vacancy left by Greg Hollister-Jones, Pollet’s former firm’s name partner. Hollister-Jones was appointed to the District Court bench last March.
