The firm beat out Chapman Tripp, Russell McVeagh, Bell Gully and Webb Henderson for the award.

MinterEllisonRuddWatts joined a pool of finalists that included Allen & Gledhill, Bae Kim & Lee, Fangda Partners, Han Kun Law Offices, JunHe, Kim & Chang, and King & Wood Mallesons Hong Kong in the digital finance category. It also faced off against Yoon & Yang, Nishimura & Asahi, Khaitan & Co, and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co for the financial services regulatory award.
