Lawyers urged to attend workplace harassment and bullying webinar

The New Zealand Law Society is encouraging lawyers to participate in a free webinar on workplace harassment and bullying.

Hosted by the NZLS CLE, the webinar will be conducted from 11:00am to 12:30pm on 4 April. Registrations end before 3:00pm on 3 April.

Steph Dyhrberg of Dyhrberg Drayton Employment Law, Susan Hornsby-Geluk of Dundas Street Employment Lawyers, and Hamish Kynaston of Buddle Findlay will conduct the webinar. Participants will be able to submit questions.

The webinar will discuss what harassment and bullying are, environmental red flags, how to create a safe and healthy work environment, recognising and minimising risk factors, dealing with complaints and investigations, professional obligations, outcomes and pastoral care, and best-practice policies.

Those registered in time will receive an electronic paper and PowerPoint slides of the webinar. Only those that participate in the webinar live will be eligible to claim CPD hours and an electronic certificate of attendance.
