Lawyer convicted of dangerous driving

A Napier lawyer has been found guilty of dangerous driving.

Philip Jensen was found guilty by Judge Lance Rowe in Napier District Court last week of driving around a roundabout the wrong way, The Dominion Post said.

The incident that happened in late November was witnessed by Detective Sergeant Emmet Lynch, who stopped Jensen.

The District Court judge found the offence proved. The offence has netted Jensen a $500 fine and a six-month driving disqualification.
