Lane Neave formally announces two new partners

Lane Neave has appointed two new partners to its Christchurch office, including one promotion and one returning partner

Lane Neave has announced two appointments to its Christchurch partnership, including one returning partner.

Monica Ryan, who left Lane Neave six years ago to join the partnership at Saunders Robinson Brown, has re-joined the practice, focusing on commercial property, trust and asset management and all aspects of rural and residential property transactions.

“Lane Neave is a full service firm and with the changes in the legal landscape in Christchurch following the earthquakes, returning to a firm like Lane Neave provides greater exposure in the areas in which I specialize: property and asset management,” says Ryan.

Ashley Taggart has also been promoted to the partnership after working at the firm since 2006.

Aside from his work in Lane Neave's commercial law and property practices, Taggart specialises in franchising and the acquisition and divestment of businesses.

In his spare time, Taggart also maintains an active profile in local sporting culture. He currently stands as chairman of the Christchurch Metropolitan Cricket Association and completed the Coast to Coast in February for the first time.
