Top lawyers to share their insights on achieving work-life balance at the Women in Law Summit

Is it possible to have a family and make it to the top?
Client demands of round-the-clock availability and the culture of long hours in the office are not conducive to family life, so is it realistic to expect female lawyers to achieve both success and work-life balance?

A panel of industry leaders including Kate Davenport, QC; Lisa Jacobs, CEO, Anthony Harper; Allison Arthur-Young, partner, Russell McVeagh; and Kiri Tahana, special counsel, Kahui Legal will come together at the inaugural Women in Law Summit in August to discuss balancing a career and a family.

The panel will discuss how to juggle family dynamics and a senior-level role successfully, how technology can help in achieving balance and which areas of law allow for the greatest flexibility.

The Women in Law Summit 2017 will be held at the Pullman Auckland on 17 August, and with over 100 private practice and in-house lawyers set to attend, this event is shaping up to be a key networking opportunity on the industry calendar.

This event satisfies the Ongoing Legal Education CPD Rules (2013). Attendees may claim up to 6 CPD points for attending the full day.
