Honouring the legal profession's finest at the 2023 NZ Law Awards

Step into a realm of prestige and recognition at the 2023 NZ Law Awards, where the crème de la crème of the legal profession are honoured and celebrated.

Carrying forward the euphoria and success of the 2022 awards, this year’s event is all set to shine a spotlight on the outstanding firms, lawyers, mediators, and deal work in the country over the past year . The air has been abuzz with anticipation ever since the unveiling of the Excellence Awardees on 31 August, and an esteemed panel has been evaluating the finalists across 27 categories.

Among these categories is the Mediator of the Year award, which event sponsor the Resolution Institute is once again supporting this year.

“This is a highly valued award, and as the leading provider of mediation training and accreditations, we are proud to recognise the outstanding services provided by our mediation community,” said Amber Williams, CEO of the Resolution Institute

The 2023 NZ Law Awards will be held as a black-tie gala at the Cordis Auckland. As the evening unfolds, the shimmering glasses will clink to the tune of success from 7:00 pm, setting the stage for the awards ceremony and gala dinner to commence at 7:30 pm. The atmosphere is set to be energised with hearty laughter as the night’s MC, comedian Mike King, takes the stage. The rhythmic groove of music from The Hipstamatics will energise the dance floor, igniting the festivities at 10:30 pm.

Reserve your tables today and gear up for an enchanting evening dedicated to lauding brilliance in the legal industry. Revel in the camaraderie with peers, reminisce over the year’s victories and ignite the spark for a forthcoming year teeming with innovation and excellence.

In this celebration of the legal profession’s finest, NZ Lawyer extends its thanks to event partner LexisNexis, as well as other esteemed sponsors Fluid Recruitment, James & Wells, Russell McVeagh, Artemis Executive Recruitment, LEAP Legal Software and Robert Walters. Their unwavering support is instrumental in recognising and lauding the significant strides made in the New Zealand legal profession.
