Helen Clark to headline AMINZ annual conference

Helen Clark ONZ will be the keynote guest at the annual conference of the Arbitrators’ and Mediators’ Institute of New Zealand.

The three-term prime minister will be discussing several topics in an hour-long session with journalist David Cohen. The annual gathering of the country’s top organisation for dispute resolution professionals will be held from 31 August to 1 September.

Topics to be discussed by Clark and Cohen include diversity leadership, a strong role for New Zealand in resolving conflict, the importance of mediation for settling ethnic disputes, the finer points of navigating local politics, and her handling of disputes in difficult jurisdictions around the world.

The session will also allow attendees to ask moderated questions.
