Greenwood Roche promotes partner, principals

Greenwood Roche has promoted a new partner and four new principals, reported the New Zealand Law Society.

Rob Harris has been elevated to partner in the Auckland office. He specialises in construction disputes, particularly the resolution of complex in-project and post-completion claims through settlement, adjudication, arbitration or court proceedings.

He has handled construction and property-related claims involving motorways, hospitals, multi-unit apartments, commercial, industrial and civil works. He has collaborated with the in-house legal teams of both private and public clients.

Beth McAuley has been promoted to principal in the Wellington office. As a senior commercial property and development specialist, she has tackled issues related to commercial leasing and development, design and build development agreements, complex subdivisions, unit title developments, and multifaceted property acquisitions and disposals.

Kurt McRedmond joins the ranks of the principals in Wellington. His practice covers acquisitions and disposals, complex development, commercial leasing, property finance and structuring.

Jordan Ropati has been promoted to principal in the Auckland office. Ropati specialises in construction law and has over a decade of experience gained in New Zealand and London. Ropati has advised on office and retail developments, mixed-use regeneration schemes, build-to-rent developments, and significant infrastructure projects in Auckland and London.

Renée de Lisle has been elevated to principal in Wellington. Her practice covers all aspects of property law, particularly development projects, large-scale property acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, and complex rural land acquisitions and leasing projects. She has a special interest in large-scale urban regeneration projects.

Clifton Lin has been promoted to principal in the Auckland office. He is a senior commercial property specialist whose experience spans complex property and infrastructure projects.
