Grant Thornton New Zealand joins Grant Thornton Advisors LLC with help from MinterEllisonRuddWatts

MinterEllisonRuddWatts has advised Grant Thornton Advisors LLC as it adds Grant Thornton New Zealand to its multinational advisory and tax platform.

With this transaction, Grant Thornton Advisors enters the APAC region and bolsters its global capabilities and reach, the firm said. Grant Thornton New Zealand will remain part of the Grant Thornton International Limited network.

“This deal reflects the growing demand for globally integrated professional services and highlights New Zealand’s strategic importance in the Asia Pacific region”, lead partner Neil Millar said.

The deal is set to close later this year.
