Global firm acts on Teleperformance’s acquisition of LanguageLine Solutions
Paul Hastings represented Teleperformance SE in the completion of its US$1.52b acquisition of LanguageLine Solutions.
 
Paul Hastings partner Teri O’Brien led the Paul Hastings team, which also included senior associate Melissa Garcia and associates Melissa Sampson and Spencer Young.
 
Attorneys from the Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C. offices of Paul Hastings were also critical members of the overall effort.
 
With the acquisition, Teleperformance will add an online phone and video translation service to its outsourced omnichannel customer experience management suit.
 
The Paris-based Teleperformance acquired LanguageLine from private equity firm ABRY Partners and other investors in a leveraged deal.
 
Teleperformance expected the deal which just closed to be completed by the end of the year.
 
Fellow BigLaw firm Kirkland & Ellis was the legal advisor for ABRY Partners and LanguageLine.
 
ABRY Partners’ and LanguageLine’s financial advisers were Credit Suisse Group AG and Morgan Stanley. Credit Agricole, HSBC Bank and Societe Generale provided debt financing.
