DCM expert joins NRF in Hong Kong

Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) has boosted its debt capital markets (DCM) capability in Hong Kong.

The firm has welcomed Margie Chan as a partner. She moved from Davis Polk & Wardwell, where she was most recently a counsel. In her more than 11 years at the elite Wall Street firm, she worked in both Hong Kong and New York.

She was also previously with Herbert Smith in Hong Kong and London. She is admitted in Hong Kong, England and Wales, and New York.

Chan’s practice has a focus on DCM and credit transactions in New York and Hong Kong.  She regularly advises on China bonds deals and represents underwriters and issuers. She is a native speaker of Cantonese and is fluent in Mandarin.

NRF recently added two new partners in Perth and appointed global real estate co-heads. In January, the firm also named a new chairman.
