“We look forward to working with the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation in support of its important work in communities around the country,” the firm's national chairman added.
Buddle Findlay will be providing the foundation with legal and financial support.
The Halberg Disability Sport Foundation works with talented young sportspeople and their families to ensure that they receive the support they need to pursue their sporting dreams, and to reap the benefits that sport and recreation provide.
They also collaborate with schools, sports clubs and organisations to provide training and support with the aim of ensuring that physical activities are available to everyone.
Established by Sir Murray Halberg in 1963 on the belief that all people, regardless of their ability, should have equal opportunity to enhance their lives through sport, the foundation now stands as the lead agency in its field.
Aside from legal and financial support, Buddle Findlay staff will also have volunteer opportunities at the foundation's key regional fundraising events.

This support is essential for us to achieve our important work in the community making sport and recreation a reality for physically disabled young Kiwis,” said Shelley McMeeken, Halberg Disability Sport Foundation’s chief executive.
The new sponsorship continues Buddle Findlay’s history of good corporate citizenship. In 2005, it established the Buddle Findlay Child Health Foundation which has raised close to $1 million from Buddle Findlay staff and the partnership to help hospitals in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch meet the health needs of the children in their care.
Buddle Findlay was also the main sponsor for the Buddle Findlay Sargeson Fellowship from 1997 to 2013, funding writer residencies and providing substantial support to help run the Frank Sargeson Trust.
