Buddle Findlay appoints new senior associate

Buddle Findlay has announced the appointment of Tom Montgomerie as a senior associate in the corporate and commercial team at the firm’s Auckland office.

Montgomerie specialises in corporate and commercial law, with experience in capital markets and securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and funds management.  He also has expertise in managing cross-border transactions and has experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts.

In his new role at Buddle Findlay, Montgomerie will advise on a range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on capital markets and general commercial contracting. 

Prior to joining Buddle Findlay, Montgomerie spent several years working for a global asset manager based in the UK where he advised on various investment transactions, fund establishments, and wholesale distribution arrangements.
