Chapman Tripp has been revealed as New Zealand’s Large Law Firm of the Year at the 10th Annual New Zealand Law Awards, held last night at the Pullman Hotel.

The firm, which was up against fellow Top Tiers Bell Gully, Buddle Findlay, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, Russell McVeagh and Simpson Grierson, managed to nab the hotly coveted title.

The night of glitz and glamour, saw the best firms, teams, deals and individuals in the New Zealand legal space receive recognition for their hard work and successes.

A huge 25 awards were handed out at the black tie occasion, attended by more than 450 professionals and  MC’d by Kiwi celebrity Petra Bagust.

The audience also enjoyed a stellar performance by 80s musical legend Annie Crummer.
