Jackson Russell has appointed David Compton its newest property and private client partner.

Compton, who comes from Auckland commercial firm Heimsath Alexander, where he was a partner for almost seven years, is an expert in commercial property.

In his 17 years of practicing law, Compton has advised clients on a wide range of property matters, including complex subdivisions and developments, leasehold structures, major property acquisitions, commercial leases, due diligence, disputes, financing, and ownership structuring.

Jackson Russell, which was established in 1844, now has eight partners.
