Auckland boutique takes principal from global firm

Auckland firm Baker Meech has appointed Lisa Meyer as principal, the New Zealand Law Society said.

The senior lawyer moved to the boutique firm from DLA Piper, where she was a senior associate since 2010. She was also an associate at Allen & Overy in London and was also legal counsel at Westpac.

She is an expert in banking and finance, regulatory issues, as well as corporate, commercial, property law, and trust matters.

Baker Meech, founded by partners Jeff Baker and Brendan Meech, specialises in banking and finance, corporate and commercial, and property law.
