The firm welcomed a new senior associate, an associate, and four senior solicitors
Anthony Harper has elevated six lawyers in its year-end promotions cycle.
Olivia Watson has become a senior associate, while Marcia Read joins the associate ranks. Beatrice Canniveng Martinez, Chelsea Pittam, Michelle Ansin and Victoria Levey have taken on the senior solicitor role.
Watson commenced with the firm in 2019 as a solicitor, per LinkedIn. She focuses on property law, tackling commercial, residential and rural property matters.
Her clients have included major corporates, charities, trusts, partnerships and individuals. Before joining Anthony Harper, she was a solicitor at Parry Field Lawyers.
Read is part of the trusts and asset planning team in Ōtautahi/Christchurch. She was previously with Gibson Sheat Lawyers as a solicitor on its elder and succession law team, according to LinkedIn.
Martinez practises with the banking, financial services, and insolvency team in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. Pittam and Levey are both on the litigation team in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, while Ansin works with the property team in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland.
The promotions take effect on 1 January 2026.
