Corporate partner Christopher Field and tax partner Jane Scobie have come on board at Dechert, according to The Lawyer.

Field specialises in private equity and M&A transactions. He joined Kirkland from Slaughters in 2005, and became a partner more than 10 years ago.

Prior to joining Kirkland in 2008, Scobie was a senior associate at Weil Gotshal & Manges. She focuses on tax aspects of commercial transactions, according to The Lawyer.

Dechert has recruited several partners from Kirkland’s London office this year, according to The Lawyer. In March it hired banking partner Rob Bradshaw. In November it recruited debt finance partner John Markland, who joined Dechert after 12 years at Courtland.
