DWF walks off with 62 from Hall & Wilcox

DWF has walked away with a 62-strong team from Hall & Wilcox.

This follows DWF’s nine-partner coup, which became public last November. According to the firm, the cohort expanded after further discussions with the new partners’ team members.

“This is an exciting time to join DWF in Australia. We have already driven dramatic growth in recent years, and these hires add further momentum to our success. We have more than doubled our headcount in the last six months alone as we respond to the needs of our clients and pursue our commitment to driving sustainable growth”, DWF Australia managing director Matt Dudakov said.

The Hall & Wilcox team has worked with global insurers and London market-based insurance syndicates. Partners Matt Curll and Rachael Arnold lead the team, which focuses on insurance litigation.

Most of the team commenced with DWF on Monday; a number started with the firm earlier while others are set to transition to DWF within the month. The majority will operate from Sydney while others work from Brisbane, Newcastle and Melbourne.
