Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has attracted King & Wood Mallesons M&A specialist Megan Coall to its team as a special counsel.

Her practice focuses on commercial transactions in the energy and resources sector. She has worked with local and international producers, as well as financial sponsors focused on investments related to the global energy transition investment.

Coall specialises in joint venture, infrastructure and commodity sales, and royalty arrangements in complex energy and resources sector projects. She has guided transactions involving critical minerals, renewables, and energy technology and storage.

“Collaboration on M&A, project development and other commercial transactions in this sector, and across traditional mining resources, renewables and emerging technologies, is vital to support the global energy transition and its array of challenges and opportunities for clients”, she said.

Coall joins JWS’ energy and resources team. She operates from Sydney.
