Redactive Software raises $11.5m with LegalVision's help

Melbourne-based generative AI-focused startup Redactive Software Pty Ltd has raised $11.5m (US$7.5m) with the help of a team from LegalVision.

Felicis Ventures IX, L.P. and Blackbird Ventures co-led the seed round, which saw investments from Atlassian Ventures and Zapier.

Redactive Software co-founder Andrew Pankevicius described the funding as “pivotal for our growth”. According to LegalVision, the capital will drive Redactive Software's expansion initiatives.

“We are incredibly excited for the Redactive team as it embarks on this next growth phase, bolstered by the added and ongoing support from leading tech enterprises and venture capital funds”, said senior corporate lawyer Angelo Mazzone, who headed up the firm’s team. “We at LegalVision are eager to continue supporting the Redactive team as they use AI to innovate the secure retrieval of real-time business data for their users”.

Redactive Software focuses on developing generative AI technology for regulated enterprises. It was established in 2023.
