The acquisition of Oxanda Education’s childcare centres will help Affinity broaden its network of services across the Eastern seaboard of Australia. As per the terms of the acquisition agreement, Affinity will rebrand the newly acquired centres, operating across Victoria, NSW, and Queensland, within six months to join its other existing brand groups, which include Milestones Early Learning, Papilio Early Learning, and Kids Academy.

This deal also marks the second significant announcement made by Affinity in the last two months, having confirmed the acquisition of 13 childcare centres in February.

Corporate and M&A partner Gavin Hammerschlag led the ABL team on the transaction. He was assisted by lawyers Michelle Ainsworth and Megan Hosiosky. Senior associates Briely Trollope and Brianna Youngson from the property team also provided support.

“We are extremely pleased to have advised Oxanda Education on this milestone transaction, which is a reflection of Oxanda Education’s status as one of Australia’s leading providers of early education,” Hammerschlag said. “We look forward to continuing to work with Oxanda Education on the next phase of its growth and development.”
