MinterEllison has advised generic pharmaceutical and private-label over-the-counter supplier Arrotex Pharmaceuticals on its recent acquisitions of Nude HoldCo and MakeUp Cartel Holdings for about $55m.
The deal kicks off an expansion into the health and beauty sector for Arrotex, which currently has a significant share in Australia’s generic pharmacy market. With the acquisitions, Arrotex snaps up brands like Nude by Nature (from Nude HoldCo) and PONi Cosmetics (from MakeUp Cartel Holdings).
