Thomson Geer helps developer acquire two more sites

Thomson Geer has advised an ASX-listed company in acquiring two development sites.

Lifestyle Communities has acquired for an undisclosed sum a site in Wollert, 47km north of Melbourne. It has also agreed to buy a 1.27-hectare site adjacent to its Ocean Grove development, which is under construction, on the Bellarine Peninsula outside of Geelong.

Lifestyle intends to build its 16th residential community on the Wollert site. The acquisitions bring the company’s home portfolio to 2,984.

Lifestyle said that its average dwelling size has jumped to 120sqm from 90sqm as baby boomers look for bigger residences.

Thomson Geer partner Vicki Sharp led the firm’s team, with support from lawyer Sarah Moore.
