Sparke Helmore strengthens projects and government commercial practice with new partner

Sparke Helmore has appointed Sheldon Garcia as the newest partner in its projects and government commercial team.

Coming in with 20 years of litigation experience, Garcia has spent the last 17 years focusing on construction dispute resolution, security of payment, and the drafting and reviewing of contracts. He has also tackled matters involving residential developments and strata in NSW, NSW government operations such as construction, goods, services, and ICT procurements, and contract claims on active projects.

He has worked with both local and state governments, as well as multinational corporations across infrastructure, manufacturing, and commercial and residential projects.

Garcia will be based in the firm’s Sydney office.
