The firm elevated 25 lawyers all in all
Six have made partner in Moray & Agnew's midyear promotions round, which saw a total of 25 lawyers elevated to new roles.
The firm's new partners are Alannah Dewing, Amanda Danti, Emma Petrie, Shaun Jackson, Erin Woodward and Julie Ngan. Their appointments bolster the firm's offerings in litigation, health law, personal injury and property.
Dewing has handled personal injury, public liability, professional indemnity and life insurance claims. In particular, she is an expert in catastrophic personal injury matters involving complex liability and quantum issues.
Danti has handled insurance claims in WA and the ACT. She has tackled matters related to Commonwealth and State workers’ compensation, public liability and industrial diseases; at present, she concentrates on workers’ compensation claims under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (Cth).
Petrie focuses on personal injury, public liability and professional indemnity claims. Her clients include national insurers.
Jackson has worked on issues involving health law, public and property liability, workplace accidents and class actions. He has handled complex dependency claims under the Compensation to Relatives Act 1897 (NSW); he counts public liability and professional indemnity insurers as well as medical professionals among his clients.
Woodward is a personal injury specialist tackling motor accident claims, workers compensation, public liability and medical negligence. She has appeared in all relevant NSW and national courts and tribunals.
Ngan has an accounting background that complements her experience in property, corporate, commercial, revenue, and finance and security law. She has tackled capital raisings, business restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and financing deals.
