Senior hires boost Gilchrist Connell's ranks

Gilchrist Connell has welcomed four new special counsel to its ranks, strengthening several of its offerings.

Richard Scougall operates from Melbourne, tackling employment law and workplace relations disputes. He has collaborated with human resource managers and leadership teams on workplace issues and disputes.

Denise Bowen is based in Perth. She brings a background as a solicitor and nurse who has handled issues across the health and aged care sector. She is an accredited mediator who has worked on civil claims, FOI requests, professional indemnity and catastrophic injuries claims.

Also based in Perth, Lauren Rathbone is a litigation lawyer with experience in commercial and insurance litigation. She has assisted individual and corporate clients alike.

Nicholas Maiorana works from Sydney. He has prosecuted commercial subrogated recoveries, and has tackled matters involving in property, construction, and professional risks. He has served as defence counsel in complex, litigated construction and engineering-related claims.
