Corrs Chambers Westgarth has welcomed top restructuring lawyer Jade Rowarth to its partnership. Based in Melbourne, Rowath comes from Maddocks where she was partner for nearly six years.

Rowath, who has practiced in both Australia and the United Kingdom, has extensive experience in restructuring and insolvency matters, the firm said, as well as in transactional, litigious, and advisory work.

Acting for a wide array of clients – including domestic bank lenders, insolvency practitioners, corporates, private equity, special situation credit funds and suppliers – her experience includes work in security enforcement and debt and asset restructuring across the corporate and capital structure. Rowath also has experience in a variety of sectors, including retail, agribusiness, hospitality, gaming, manufacturing, and resources.

Corrs Partner and CEO, John W.H. Denton AO, said that Rowath’s expertise will serve clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

“From capital and corporate restructurings, administration, receivership and liquidation, and insolvency litigation, Jade will be an important part of our litigation team and we are delighted to welcome her to the firm,” Denton said.
