Last chance to nominate for the Australasian Law Awards 2022

The nominations period for the 2022 Australasian Law Awards will be closing next week.

Those interested in nominating firms, lawyers, in-house legal teams, arbitrators, mediators and service providers for the illustrious awards will only have until Friday 4 February to make their submissions. Nominations can be made in 32 categories that also seek to honour achievements in deal work and strides made to improve diversity.

The Australasian Law Awards has celebrated the best in the Australasian legal industry for years since its inception, spotlighting billion-dollar transactions, the resilience shown by both private practitioners and in-house lawyers through tough times, and tech and innovation moves pioneered by firms and organisations. The awards have also recognised initiatives to support staff wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and pro bono work.

The Excellence Awardees for all categories will be announced on Australasian Lawyer in March. An independent judging panel will then evaluate the submissions of the shortlisted candidates.

After two years of having to announce awardees virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 winners will once again be crowned in person at a black-tie gala event to be held at the Hilton Sydney on 19 May.

Nominations can be made online for as many categories as applicable here.

Australasian Lawyer would like to extend special thanks to award sponsors Clayton Utz, Dye & Durham and Resolution Institute for supporting this event and the recognition of legal excellence. For sponsorship opportunities or further inquiries, contact [email protected].
