Following its establishment over 10 years ago, 2022 5-Star Personal Injury Law Firm winner Gair Legal has become known for client service. However, the firm doesn’t stop at pleasing external stakeholders – it also prioritises cultivating an environment where its lawyers can thrive.

“We have a casual office dress policy, except the court and client attendances. Staff can choose to work in sports attire and have the flexibility to program their sporting and health activities around their work life,” finance director Anthony Cummins explained.

Moreover, the specialist insurance litigation law firm has launched offices outside of the CBD in NSW to foster improved work-life balance for employees while still providing a team structure. It has also implemented incentive-based bonuses to draw lawyers.

“It is an environment where every lawyer is valued and allowed to thrive to their best capacity in a supportive and team-based environment. As a result, we have attracted quality senior leaders and lawyers who have created a strong leadership group who cares,” Cummins added. “The lawyers and staff at Gair Legal care about the work product they provide and care about the people and processes involved.”

He pointed out that the firm is able to deliver on high-quality output to clients through its mentorship and development of staff.

Gair Legal is on the iCare Legal Services panel and is a main legal provider in workers’ compensation matters. The firm also acts for a range of scheme agents, specialised insurers, self-insurers and government agencies.
