Finance partner Marisa Sotomayor joins King & Spalding in New York

King & Spalding has welcomed Marisa Sotomayor as a partner in its corporate, finance and investments practice group.

Based in New York, Sotomayor represents investment banks and institutional lenders, private credit funds, direct and non-traditional lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in a wide range of domestic and cross-border leveraged finance and restructuring transactions. This includes cash flow and asset-based credits, acquisition financings and leveraged buyouts, syndicated transactions and bilateral and club deals. She also has experience in leading syndicated project financings.

Sotomayor is ranked in Chambers USA 2022.  She earned her undergraduate degree and her master of public administration degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She earned her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.
