Disgraced Gold Coast lawyer arrested again

Disgraced Gold Coast criminal lawyer Brianna Ioannides was arrested again overnight, the fifth time in just eight months.

She was arrested for allegedly breaching bail conditions breaking a night curfew and failing to report to police, The Courier Mail reported.

She has been granted fresh bail, despite police objections.

The case was adjourned until later this month.

Ioannides is facing a string of drug charges after being caught up in police raids since October.

She was charged with a range of drug related charges two weeks ago when police found methamphetamines, steroids and a bag containing laptops during a raid of an apartment rented by her friend.  Her lawyer told the Southport Magistrates Court that she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
