Cyber risk expert Ross Phillipson has joined the partnership of the technology and digital group at Gilbert + Tobin (G+T).
Phillipson has tackled matters involving cyber security resilience, governance, risk management and incident response for over 20 years. He has helped clients in the critical infrastructure, financial services, energy, mining and resources, technology and health sectors to handle complex cyber risks and security issues.
Per LinkedIn, he was previously a partner at A&O Shearman and Norton Rose Fulbright. He also spent nearly two decades in-house at Procter & Gamble, where he was senior director and associate general counsel – eBusiness operations legal.
Phillipson is set to helm a team focused on complex cyber security, data protection and digital risk matters. Phillipson noted that he was joining G+T “at a time when cyber security and digital resilience are more critical than ever”.
