Robert Speed has worked with Jones Day and Allens
McCabes has brought in a new principal as Robert Speed joins the Sydney corporate team.
Managing principal Andrew Lacey described Speed as a “strategic hire to strengthen our expertise and depth in a growing practice for the firm. ”
Speed is an expert in transactions involving capital markets, private and public M&A, financial services, securities regulation, and corporate governance. He has been working in corporate law for more than 15 years.
He gained experience at major firms like Jones Day, Allens and Watson Mangioni.
“I am excited by McCabe's growth ambitions in the corporate and commercial space which I look forward to being a part of. I also look forward to working collaboratively with others within McCabes to provide legal services to new and existing clients in an efficient and cost-effective manner,” Speed said.
