Bennett & Philp boosts wills and estates team

Bennett & Philp has recruited a senior lawyer to boost its wills and estates team.

Geoffrey Armstrong has joined the firm as special counsel, bringing with him 30 years of experience. He will support directors Kellie Keenan and Charlie Young, who head the firm’s wills and estates team.

The veteran solicitor moves to Bennett & Philp after spending 2007 to 2017 as a sole practitioner in the Brisbane area.

He specialises in will drafting, including testamentary trust, estate administration, powers of attorney, conveyancing and property law, advanced health directives, and inheritance tax planning.

In July, Bennett & Philp appointed two new directors and became the lone Queensland representative of an invite-only law alliance.
