Clayton Utz has poached Ashurst real estate partner Vicki Aron.

This marks a comeback for Aron, who was a senior associate at Clayton Utz over 15 years ago.

“Vicki’s appointment will ensure we maintain our market leading bench strength and capability to meet the growing demand for advice across a range of real estate matters, especially for our private sector clients”, said Andrew Steele, Clayton Utz’s national practice group leader for real estate.

Aron brings over two decades of experience with real estate law. She focuses on major projects and development transactions.

She has tackled commercial and industrial leasing, acquisitions and disposals, and corporate real estate matters. Moreover, she has advised on the tenure and real estate aspects of solar, wind, hydro, battery energy storage systems and energy from waste projects in Australia.

Aron has worked with clients on landowner disputes and other real estate issues in energy transition matters.

At Ashurst, she also worked with the real estate team.
