Bechara has over 25 years’ experience as a lawyer specialising in Property, Dispute Resolution and Negotiation, Banking & Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial and Corporate Law.

Bechara’s expertise is regularly relied on by major corporations that include property developers, construction companies, technology companies, banks, industry associations and major retail brands.

A seasoned dealmaker, Bechara has acted as the legal advisor on some of the largest property developments and joint ventures in New South Wales. These projects have included mixed-use and high-rise developments with values ranging from $10M to $3B. From 2017 – 2020, Bechara acted and continues to act as the legal advisor on the Showground precinct, a major mixed-use development comprising 3,600 dwellings.

His specialisation includes acting for large and reputable developers and builders in relation to all aspects of land dealings including acquisitions, disposals, off-the-plan selling and strata, PDA’s, local government & planning, leasing and building & construction.

This expertise is regularly relied on by industry leading companies including, Piety Group, LEDA, Metro Petroleum Group, Potentia, J Group, Rebel Property Group, More Human, Eastern Pacific, Sekisui House, Showground Corporation, Tangarra Holdings and Giorgio Armani.

A regarded and trusted source of knowledge within his field of expertise, Bechara also provides consulting to a number of private companies and their various boards including Piety Group, Eastern Pacific, ARECOR and FSHD Global Research Foundation (Philanthropic). His expertise is regularly relied on by Chartered Accountants, Financial Advisors, Liquidators and Trustees.

He also has extensive experience providing advice on international joint ventures; offtake agreements; corporate finance; master franchises and corporate governance; agriculture; mining and renewable energy projects; technology; food & beverage; media & entertainment; and construction & infrastructure.
