Alex has more than 15 years’ experience practising as a senior lawyer. She specialises in commercial dispute resolution, regulatory investigations and Royal Commissions.

With particular expertise in Royal Commissions, from 2018-2020, Alex acted as a lead partner of the Solicitors Assisting team of the Royal Commission into the Management of Police Informants (Lawyer ‘X’ Royal Commission). In 2021, Alex again acted as a lead partner of the legal team acting for the State of Victoria of the Royal Commission into the Casino Operator and Licence (Crown Casino Royal Commission). In any dispute, Alex works closely with her clients to quickly establish their needs and broader commercial objectives so that results can be secured in the quickest and most effective manner possible, including through Court based litigation or by alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and expert determination.

Alex is an accredited advisor with Family Business Australia and regularly works with family businesses, trusts, high net worth individuals and private clients. Alex advises on disputes regarding minority shareholder claims, breach of trust and wills and estates involving family members.

Alex is a highly proficient litigator and has been recognised by her peers as a Recommended Victorian Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Lawyer in Doyle's Guide 2018 and 2021. In 2020, Alex was a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards and was named Partner of the Year – BigLaw at the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards.

Outside her role as a lawyer, Alex is the Chair of Holding Redlich's national Inclusion and Diversity Committee and a non-executive Director of the Board of the Mercy Health Foundation, a voluntary role she has held since 2019.
