Anderson Lloyd has promoted corporate and commercial lawyer Steve O’Dea to special counsel.

O’Dea focuses on infrastructure and construction transactions and project troubleshooting. He has spent over 10 years providing guidance on energy and infrastructure projects, public private partnerships, corporate and commercial matters, and IP and technology matters across multiple jurisdictions.

He has assisted in the development and launch of projects and supported clients through related challenges. He accumulated experience working in Singapore and London before moving to New Zealand in 2017 to join the commercial team at Anderson Lloyd.

O’Dea is a qualified solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and is a practising barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. He is part of the Society of Construction Law New Zealand and The Infrastructure Collective.
