CLM promotes new partner

Cooney Lees Morgan (CLM) has promoted Chad Wallace to partner, effective this April.

Since his start at CLM in 2015, Wallace initially joined the private client and trust team, later transitioning to the property and development team in April 2021.

His experience lies in commercial property transactions, agricultural and horticultural property dealings, retirement villages, as well as subdivisions, developments, and trusts.

He leads a team that advises nationwide residential construction companies and acts for various private developers in residential and commercial subdivisions, including unit title developments. His client base includes orchardists, farmers, trusts, and retirement village operators.

His experience includes various commercial, rural, and residential property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, leasing, subdivisions, residential build contracts, financing, orchard, and farm transactions.

In 2023, Wallace earned recognition as a 'Rising Star' from NZ Lawyer.
