Corrs lawyer jumps to JWS

Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has snapped up Julia Green from Corrs Chambers Westgarth as its newest special counsel.

Green joins JWS’ environment and planning team. She will be operating from the Sydney office.

She brings over 18 years of experience in environment and planning law, and has handled significant and complex developments in NSW on behalf of high-calibre clients. She has acted for clients in litigious, advisory and transactional capacities in relation to major projects.

Green has worked on matters in sectors like real estate, energy and resources, infrastructure, and agriculture. Additionally, she has advised on best practice and opportunities in climate change, sustainability and ESG.

“With ESG being a key focus area for companies across Australia, we are excited to be able to further enhance our offering to clients in this area”, said Samantha Daly, JWS head of environment and planning.
